Memories, “abiding images,” family stories, reflections on the relationship between our current experiences and our past—and future—lives: these are the raw material for memoir. This series is intended to help us mine our own lives for the stuff of literature, and to develop our stories into engaging and insightful creative nonfiction pieces. Mondays, 4-6 pm, February 25, March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22 (five classes) prompts and craft discussion on memoir and essay, with five “Small Group Feedback Sessions” on Tuesdays, 4-6 pm, March 5, March 19, April 2, April 16 and April 30.
