Memories, “abiding images,” family stories, reflections on the relationship between our current experiences and our past—and future—lives: these are the raw material for memoir. This series is intended to help us mine our own lives for the stuff of literature, and to develop our stories into engaging and insightful creative nonfiction pieces. This program began in Summer 2015 as an offshoot of the Practice of Poetry series. It is offered as weekly series only, with peer critique sessions included. The class is women only. Text is Writing Life Stories by Bill Roorbach (2008 edition.)
Schedule: Mondays, 3:30-6:00 pm, February 13-April 4 (eight sessions).
Location: Pauletta Hansel’s Paddock Hills home (Cincinnati)
